This is a sequence of pictures that shows the lot clearing process starting from a point where there was no clearing done at all.
This will be the first in a number of posts that will come pretty quickly. I’m going to try to get caught up to the present.
Our builder had a rough time getting the necessary permits. It seems that the bursting of the housing bubble caused York County to lay off a lot of inspectors since nothing was being built. Now there’s a mini boom. A process that typically takes four to six weeks took us a bit more than twelve. Our builder was able to expedite the permit that allowed the lot to be cleared though. Here is what that looked like.
