The Boys Start School

Not much happened after the lot was cleared.  There was a huge backlog at the permit office so nothing moved for about a month while we waited to make sure that we passed the perc test.  We’re going to have a septic system so this was the last test before we could get our building permit.

Just because nothing moved at the lot doesn’t mean that nothing happened with the family though.  Both boys started school.  Noah started mid-August and Ben started about a week later.  There was a little trepidation since this would be the first day at new schools for both of them, but everything worked out great and they’re both doing well.

Ben really missed Noah for the week before he started school too.  As a distraction one day Allison let him play with the camera on her phone.  This led to some pretty interesting photos.

Eventually the day came for Ben to have his first day too.  He was a little nervous, but now he looks forward to going every day.

    A Disney Vacation

We were still waiting for work to get started on the house again, but it was time to head to Disney World for the week of Labor Day.  Allison and I both love Disney World.  We both swear that we’d live there if we could and we’re hoping that the boys end up loving it…
