Not much happened after the lot was cleared.\u00a0 There was a huge backlog at the permit office so nothing moved for about a month while we waited to make sure\u00a0that we passed the perc test.\u00a0 We’re going to have a septic system so this was the last test before we could get our building permit.<\/p>\n

Just because nothing moved at the lot doesn’t mean that nothing happened with the family though.\u00a0 Both boys started school.\u00a0 Noah started mid-August and Ben started about a week later.\u00a0 There was a little trepidation since this would be the first day at new schools for both of them, but everything worked out great and they’re both doing well.<\/p>\n

Ben really missed Noah for the week before he started school too.\u00a0 As a distraction one day Allison let him play with the camera on her phone.\u00a0 This led to some pretty interesting photos.<\/p>\n

Eventually the day came for Ben to have his first day too.\u00a0 He was a little nervous, but now he looks forward to going every day.<\/p>\n
