It was a great day for running and he did pretty darned well.  He improved his best time from last year by more than a minute.  We&#8217;re super proud of him.  He&#8217;s looking forward to the rest of the season and hopes to improve his times every race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The weather was great and the course seemed to be in really good shape.  The event was the first annual South Mecklenburg Cross Country Invitational.  The venue was awesome. It&#8217;s a brand new school this year, and there are no seniors at the school this year.
