Finally it looks as though we’re almost done with the framing.\u00a0 There looks to be a few odds and ends to finish on the inside, and the screened porch still needs to be framed, but you can tell that things have finally moved along.<\/p>\n

It’s pretty crazy how the house seems to get bigger the more that it’s closed in.\u00a0 When we first saw the footers I was sure that we’d made a mistake … or that the builder had.\u00a0 I was wrong.\u00a0 The thing is plenty big.\u00a0 Our builder has told us that it will look even bigger when the drywall goes in.\u00a0 I’ll tell you, it can’t happen soon enough for us.\u00a0 Every day we hate this apartment more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
